"FitPass" Membership

Access to the Melrose Beach Club Gym Only. 

The pass is good for January 1, 2025 - December 31, 2025. 

The pass only grants access to the gym, and all other amenities will require additional purchase.


"FitPass" Memberships are non-transferable and are valid only for the individual named in the membership contract.

Terms and Conditions

By purchasing a membership pass at Melrose Oyster House & Beach Club, you agree to the following terms and conditions:


1. Membership Duration

  • All membership passes are valid for 2025 only, regardless of when they are purchased within the calendar year.
  • If a membership pass is purchased after July 1st, it will be pro-rated for the remainder of the year. 

2. Refund Policy

  • Memberships are non-refundable. In the event of cancellation within 6 months of purchase, a gift card for the value of the unused portion may be issued, but this is subject to approval and specific circumstances.
  • After 6 months, memberships will be pro-rated for the remainder of the year in the event of cancellation. Refunds will be issued for the pro-rated portion, minus any administrative fees.

3. Waiver and Contract Requirement

  • All members are required to sign a waiver and membership contract at the time of registration. This contract outlines the responsibilities and liabilities associated with membership.
  • The waiver includes an acknowledgment of potential risks associated with gym and pool use, as well as a release of liability for Melrose Oyster House & Beach Club.

4. Membership Use

  • "FitPass" Memberships are non-transferable and are valid only for the individual named in the membership contract.
  • All other Memberships are transferable up to 3 people per day.

5. Access and Hours

  • Access to the gym and pool is subject to club hours, which may change seasonally or due to special events. Please check the schedule for any updates.
  • The club reserves the right to limit access to the gym, pool, or other facilities based on operational needs, such as maintenance or private events.

6. Code of Conduct

  • All members must follow the code of conduct set forth by Melrose Oyster House & Beach Club. This includes adherence to the facility rules, respectful behavior toward other members and staff, and proper hygiene standards in both the gym and pool areas.

7. Changes to Terms

  • Melrose Oyster House & Beach Club reserves the right to modify or update these terms and conditions at any time. Notice of such changes will be provided to members via email or posted on the website.

8. Governing Law

  • These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina. Any disputes arising from the use of the membership or the terms outlined herein will be subject to the jurisdiction of South Carolina courts.

9. Additional Conditions

  • Members must provide valid identification upon request.
  • Membership does not guarantee access to specific facilities or services at all times, and availability may be subject to club capacity, safety, and operational factors.


 Please note: Watercraft rentals are not included with memberships and must be purchased separately.
